LUNG DISEASE & LUNG CANCER SCREENING PACKAGE
Early detection and diagnosis of lung cancer can increase the chances of successful treatment through advances in medicine, including surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and targeted therapy

Regular lung cancer screening is extremely important, especially for the following groups:
- Moderate-risk group: People aged 50 and older who are frequently exposed to secondhand smoke, smoke occasionally, or previously smoked heavily but quit within the past 15 years.
- High-risk group: People aged 50 and older with a smoking history of more than 30 pack-years, such as smoking one pack per day for 30 years or two packs per day for 15 years.
- People with the following symptoms should undergo lung cancer screening promptly:
• Persistent or recurrent cough, or coughing up blood
• Chest pain
• Changes in voice
• Wheezing or shortness of breath
• Painful or difficult swallowing
• Weakness and frequent fatigue
• A family history of cancer across multiple generations
Low-dose computed tomography (low-dose CT)uses a spiral scanning technique to continuously capture images of the lungs. Additional examinations, such as cancer-related tests and bronchoscopy, may also support the screening and evaluation of lung tumors.
