The Department of Diagnostic Imaging at Tam Tri Nha Trang General Hospital provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging services, including 3D/4D ultrasound, examinations of the head, neck, chest, abdomen, obstetrics and gynecology, musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular system, and digital X-ray imaging.

One of the department's highlights is the 128-slice Multi-Slice Computed Tomography (MSCT) scanner, one of the most advanced CT systems available, enabling rapid and highly accurate diagnosis.

With a team of experienced radiologists, highly skilled technologists, and state-of-the-art imaging equipment, we are committed to delivering accurate diagnostic results while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction.

Electrocardiography (ECG)

Electrocardiography (ECG) is recommended for:

• Older adults undergoing cardiovascular screening.

• Patients with hypertension, bradycardia, diabetes mellitus, hyperthyroidism, or other cardiovascular risk factors.

• Patients aged 50 years and older prior to surgery or gastrointestinal endoscopy.

• Individuals with known or suspected cardiovascular diseases.

Bone Mineral Density (BMD) Testing

Bone mineral density assessment is recommended for:

• Older adults, particularly postmenopausal women.

• Patients experiencing bone or joint pain.

• Individuals at risk of osteoporosis.

Ultrasound Services

• General abdominal ultrasound.

• Breast, thyroid, and testicular ultrasound.

• Soft tissue, musculoskeletal, pleural, and chest wall ultrasound.

• Vascular ultrasound.

• Ultrasound-guided biopsy and fluid aspiration procedures (including pleural and abdominal fluid).

• Obstetric and gynecological ultrasound.

• Echocardiography (cardiac ultrasound).

Digital X-ray System

Our digital radiography system provides:

• Routine X-ray examinations: chest, lungs, skull, paranasal sinuses, musculoskeletal system, and KUB (Kidneys–Ureters–Bladder) imaging for urinary tract stone evaluation.

• Specialized contrast studies: esophagus and stomach, small bowel follow-through, barium enema, retrograde cystourethrography, intravenous urography (IVU), and T-tube cholangiography.

• Hysterosalpingography (HSG).

• Dental X-ray imaging.

128-Slice Multi-Slice CT (MSCT)

The 128-slice CT scanner offers advanced diagnostic capabilities, including:

1.5 Tesla Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

The 1.5 Tesla MRI system is an advanced diagnostic imaging technology that uses a powerful magnetic field and radio waves without exposing patients to ionizing radiation.

MRI provides exceptionally detailed images of organs and tissues, assisting physicians in the early detection, diagnosis, and evaluation of a wide range of medical conditions affecting the brain, spine, joints, abdomen, pelvis, and other body systems.
